Is a hand colored reproduction of Sydney Laurence painting worth anything?

I was watching Antiques Road Show and saw that his
Alaskan painting would sell for something like $59,000.
I just was wondering...............

My copy says #20 on the back and on the
cardboard thing in the frame it
says "Alaska Cache - Sydney Laurence''
other side says ''Griffin's Alaska''

I bought it because I love the way it looks,
but didn't pay any attention to who even painted it.
When I saw that on TV I said ''That looks like it
may have been done by the same guy who did mine!"
Sure enough....

Once you get into the site, look for Arts and Humanities.
Find the artist who could most likely answer your question.
They have different artist's for different types of art questions
Also send them the photo of the piece of art you have along with your question.
It may take a couple of days before they get back to you , but they will get back to you . I use them allot and they are very good at what they do and best of all they are free

Only if it's original by the artist. A reproduction by another artist wouldn't be worth much, I'm afraid. You can still ask an art appraiser to look at it.

Your print is relatively valuable, selling for between $100 - $500 on eBay.
