I just started playing LBP and I am new to level creation. I want to make my devices or objects like coasters and such reset to their starting point if someone dies so that it is not all the way across the board when they spawn at checkpoint. Anyway to do this? And some level creating advice or links to good tuturials would help too please...thanks

There are a bunch of tutorials for this. Throughout the levels you get more things and materials to use, so you might have to complete some levels first and complete the creation beginner tutorials first, I know there are checkpoints you can use and place where you like.
For coasters, it might be harder since you'll need to know how to bolt the wheels to the cart, how to make the coasters go, and etc. It took me a while to learn, but after I figured everything out it was a piece of cake.
