GOD'S law vs Humans law. What law will you comply with?

Divorce means separation of husband and wife at any cause, this is human law, GOD'S law, only death separates husband and wife, Rom.7:1-3;Mk.10:9 What GOD puts together let no man asunder. What law shall we follow?

Death and adultery are grounds for divorce, the Bible also says you can separate for the sake of peace, you are to work for reconciliation, but you can separate.
Abusive husbands try to force this on their victim wives, some have had to learn this this hard way because their wives have escaped the marriage and it never fails to amuse me that the abusive husband says this ain't right.
Death and adultery are the only grounds for a divorce but that don't mean a wife can't leave and stay gone, neither can marry because they are not scriptural free.
Most wives that were in a abusive marriage don't remarry, they don't forget the fear they suffered. I have sisters that have been in a abusive marriage, neither one has remarried nor do they plan on it, but both their husbands have, they have to have someone to knock around.

Which of God's laws do you advocate? Perhaps we could bring back God's law mandating stoning those who work on the Sabbath.

If you think that this is a bad law, what moral basis do you use?

Isaiah 40:8
"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

Matthew 5:17,18
"Think not that I come to destroy the law, or the prophets, I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

Luke 16:17
"Heaven and earth will disappear before the smallest letter of the Law does."

John 10:35
" ... and the Scripture cannot be broken ..."

God's law does permit divorce under certain circumstances, if your partner has been unfaithful to you.

Matthew 5:32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital
unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress., and anyone who marries
the divorced woman commits adultery.'

However, God instituted marriage and family and I believe desires to see mankind work harder at saving our marriages and family by extension.

Misstating God's law makes you a liar and will get you a place in the lake of the fire. Divorce in the Bible means to cut off if your spouse will not have sex with you they have cut you off and you are divorced. God requires you to drive out an immoral person (1 Corinthians 5) there is no exception you must divorce an immoral spouse.
