Should Christo be allowed to cover a river in Colorado with cloth?

The "artist" Christo wants to cover miles of Colorado's Arkansas River with bright cloth in the name of art. I am against the project, which will take years to complete, will affect ecosystems, and, in my opinion, will be ugly as heII.

Are you for or against it? How do you think it will affect animals in and around the river?

By the way, if you are against it, you can join the Facebook page "Save the Arkansas River from Christo's "Art" "

This guy has serious mental issues. I fished this beautiful river for over 35 years as a Colorado resident, catching and releasing thousands of beautiful trout in the process. Health issues have forced me to sea level (Phoenix), but I will gladly buy a plane ticket, have my nephew pick me up at the airport and go burn down this idiotic and hideous "thing" (not to be confused with "art"). This guy needs to go back to San Francisco where he can be appreciated.

The first time he did that stuff, it was kind of like "Oh, well that's different."

Now that that is clearly all he is capable of doing, and has rehashed the same basic "art" dozens of time, its more like, "Dude, get a hobby, or quit until you get an original idea."

My thought is that if he does accomplish the start of this project, he will never finish it, and it will be repeatedly removed by "vandals."

I agree with you his "art" is a total inconvenience and not really an art It's his attempt to hide the beauty of God's handy work out of a bitterness that God is a better artist than he. He definitely has some issues.
