Can I use 2 modems on One Account?

I have a failry large house and I can't get the wirless to work on the othe side of the house. I was wandering if I could hook up 2 modems. One on one side, and one on the other side, on the same account. Will it allow me to have both conencted at the same time and is that my on;y option? The wirless g router doest reach half way across the house.

If you use two you will have all sorts of problems unless you set one up as a wireless extender.

Other alternatives might be Ethernet over power, e.g. Comtrend or a purpose designed wireless extender such as belkin, link sys. Both will work but the Ethernet resolution is faster and more reliable and very easy to set up.

That's like using more than 1 condom.

You pay per connection, so you would need another connection, which you would pay for to use two modems.

You can use routers and bridges to connect more machines to the one modem if you want to.

I think that is what you want to do.

No, that won't work. You need to get a more powerful wireless access point.
