i can speak none of either, and as of february i will be living in either denmark or japan for a whole year. (as an exchange student.)
i would love some free lesson downloads i can put on my ipod, or even the names of some good free online schools. but anything would be a great help.

Check for podcasts on itunes. Also, I love Berlitz books. You can get them at Barnes and Noble, and they've really helped my french. Also, I would reccomend Japanese, as it'll be more useful for you. And, if an employer sees Japanese on your resume, it'll tell them you're a hard worker, and just its a positive to have a second language. As far as online stuff, I speak french, and there arent even many good ones out there. I would go with books and podcasts, more than internet sites. Hope I helped!
