well that's not a free fall that follows newton's laws of motion ( newton was a failure in love)

but certainly there's some common aspects

normal falls would result in arm, leg or other body parts break, if you reach the buttom of your fall orbit
the deeper your fall is, the more pain you get (might kill you too), once you hit the bottom

but in this fall the thing that breaks is your heart when the partner puts an end(bottom) to your fall,
and again the deeper your fall is, the more pain you get (might make you suicide), once you hit the bottom
