I want to go back to school but..?

I owe a previous school some money. I want to go to a different school but I need to know if I have to pay back the previous school before I can get into this other school?

If you have an outstanding debt at another school, they will not release your transcript - and if you received financial aid at the other school, and owe that, you won't be eligible for any new loans or grants and the new school will not allow you to register for classes............ as you've already a bad risk.
