Its referring to opponent's ranking at a particular position. Example: Anquan Boldin (WR Bal) is listed as having an oprk of 1st in Week 1 of the season. This means that the Jets (the team BAL is playing against) is the best team in the league at guarding against the pass. So, you would want to take this into consideration when deciding whether or not to start Boldin on Week 1 (especially if Revis is back by then because he would be matched up against Boldin).
