Anyone else have black outs from anxiety attacks?

Ok so let me first off by saying i have type 2 bipolar. I also have been suffering from anxiety attacks for over a year. My life right now its beyond extremely stressful, which has triggered the bipolar swings as i call them. Im just curious if this is common or not. Once in awhile ill be on one of my low swings ( the type that makes me feel worthless, restless, etc) and then ill have this anxiety type attack were i cant breath, everything feels like its coming down on me, im shaking, rocking back and forth, etc. Then i come out of it and feel extremely angry and short tempered. I snap out and then dont remember anything for over 15-30 mins. I come to and anyone around me looks afraid and tells me i did and said things i dont remember. Ive started therapy, and have to wait a month to see the doctor that handles the medication stuff. so like i said, is this normal or anyone else have this happen?

Just from personal experience I have had similar experiences that have been panic/anxiety attack induced. I think in my case though it has mainly been occasions that were traumatic or when I've had a breakdown. They call is a 'dissociative episode' where you are so stressed and affected by a situation and the feelings it brings that you literally shut off from it. These memories can come back but often only if you can talk the situation back through. I'm not sure if this is what you're describing as you've not said it is when your experiencing trauma, but I guess its like little breakdowns or something.
Your best bet is to make a note of when they occur and what you remember straight after and then if you remember any more later, jot that down too. Then show them to your psychiatrist or therapist.
Good luck with it, and I'm glad your having therapy.
