Do you feel spiritually nourished after leaving a church service?

It depends. There have been times where I've attended a church service and either the service elements themselves or the message delivered by the pastor have left me spiritually nourished, but this does not always, or even frequently, happen.

Spiritual nourishment comes from a relationship with God. God provides said spiritual nourishment, not church, a pastor, or anything else. Sometimes God provides said spiritual nourishment through the church, but it would be almost sinful to ascribe that spiritual nourishment to anything but God...including "going to church."

After attending a service at an alive church, I feel energized. So yes.

I went with my church's youth group on a mission trip over the summer and we went to a local church there for wednesday night youth service. The sermon was great and the church was very much alive. The effect it had on the group was amazing. We started with 50 tired and cranky kids from working all day to 50 energetic teens excited for God.

I shall attempt to respond to a pathetic question with an clever answer. My parish between the hours of a million pm and 2 pm grant sandwiches to everyone who feels a would desire to ask for them, seven days a week. The Catholic Church does an undesirable lot to feed the unfavorable.

Sometimes. I used to all the time, before I saw the religion in the services. Now it's different for me, but the Lord can still get through to me.
