I answer all these dog questions. Yahoo, says I get points for doing this. To what end? I don't mind helping.?

I don't mind applying my expertise in answering dog questions. But to what end, other than helping others i.e., what is the point system for? Is there an ultimate goal to reach? I have over twenty Best Answers, answering dog questions, what does this mean to Yahoo? I am personally addressing Yahoo, not others. I am not interested in others answers because they don't know. So, let Yahoo answer me.

You will be waiting a LONG time before a staff member of Yahoo replies to your question.
You can't do anything with the points. All you do is move up a level when you have enough. It is not too exciting really, which is why most people use Yahoo Answers to have fun and socialize.
I have 1130 Best Answers at the current moment. Yahoo doesn't really care how many points you make.

Yahoo! does not answer questions here on Answers. There is no "ultimate goal to reach". The point system if just to make you feel like you've accomplished something. This is just a question and answer site for entertainment purposes. To be honest, you mean nothing to yahoo. You are just one of millions of users of this site. I don't know what makes you think you are so special. If your percentage of Best Answers is high enough you may be awarded a Top Contributor badge. It is done automatically. Nobody from yahoo headquarters reads all your answers and decides to give you a Top Contributor. Once again, the purpose of this site is just for users to ask questions and give answers and is mostly for entertainment only. Points are really just for entertainment also.

First off, "Yahoo!" as a company doesn't answer questions. So you can't personally address them. It's impossible.

You'll have to email them.

Second, the point system is nothing more than bragging rights.
