People have been fascinated by this sort of thing throughout history. It's part of human nature to look at two large, potentially dangerous animals and wonder which one could whip the other. The Romans used to settle it for real, by shipping animals from the wild and making them fight in an arena for the entertainment of the public. People are basically just curious about things like this. Be thankful that today they just ask about it on the internet, instead of getting animals to kill each other.
