5 months postpartum ovulation?

i had a positive opk 2 weeks ago today. the surge lasted 3 days. since then i have had extremely abundant ewcm ever since but loads and loadsof it the last few days i've also been experiencing cramping 7 pains.
my opk remained egative since the surge i detected, and i havent had sex these last 2 weeks so its genuine ewcm, not seminal residue.
i took an hpt its bfn.
i'm 5 months postpartum & breastfeeding.

No I am not ttc. I'm asking why I have ewcm in my lp or if maybe I haven't o'd? What's that all about? Conflicting signals.

Hun there's really only a couple things that really could be going on and no one can really say for sure. Either your body tried to O and it failed, and is continually trying hence the constant ewcm with no LH surge, or your body did eventually O way later after your +opk and you are just having an abundance of ewcm in your lp which sometimes happens. We both know that sometimes we never dried up after O and cramps kicked in immediately after O, or O pains just continued on here and there in the LP. If you've yet to O your body is going to keep trying so keep monitoring you Cm, which obviously is not too hard if you are having tons of it, and keep testing with opks to not miss a surge. It's hard to say what exactly is going as your cycle is really confusing postpartum so try to hang in there and keep a close eye on things. It's also possible that you might just not O and eventually have breakthrough or withdrawl bleeding, as your lining may not be able to sustain itself any longer. Sorry I cannot be of more help but these are the only things that make sense to me xx.

Maybe next time you could post in the pregnancy forum, as the ladies there may more be of more help to you? I see quite a bit of these questions posted there xx

I didn't see a question in here but are you trying for your next baby? How exciting!!! Good luck! Give it a few more days. The test might have been taken too early.
