I can't unistall AVG 2011!!?

Question

I tried everything. I went to program and the unistall page, and i couldn't unistall it..
then i went to AVG.com and downloaded the remover. still did nt work... im losing hope.. any of thoughts?

Since u have tried add & remove, I think maybe u need some help with some pro programs, such as Final Uninstaller.

Two answers:

1) Clean it off your computer completely.
    a) Uninstall it.
    b) Download and install CCleaner.com
    c) Run CCleaner and clear all temporary files.
    d) Run CCleaner and clean the registry.
    e) Delete the AVG program folder
    f) Reboot
    g) Make sure every trace of AVG is gone.  Run HijackThis to be sure.  If HijackThis finds any AVG component, clean it, and then reboot.  You want to guarantee an absolutely clean machine.
    h) Reinstall AVG 2011
If it still won't install, go to answer # 2

2) Clean AVg according to the steps above.  Then reinstall the older 9.x version of AVG and continue to update daily as you always have.  In a few weeks, 2011 will have been patched once or twice, and you can try again.

step 1 goto programs and features try uninstalling step to goto start click on start search and type avg 2011 uninstall  step 3 right click on icon open file location look for uninstall exe  step 4 click on install exe see if uninstall is offered some times the instalation wizzard doubles for uninstall if not try revo uninstaller and if that doesnt work try http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html
