LEGO question- what is the name of the part that would hold the door on to an airplane?

I think an actuator is more like a lego motor. I tried doing a web search and most information is about lego history then how to's with part names. Best I can advise is going to
http://service.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx and click for 'replacement parts'.
