Can I pack china in colored tissue paper?

I've inherited an almost entire china set.They're in very nice condition and I'd like to keep them that way. They came packed in newspaper, which will eventually transfer the print. Can I pack them in colored tissue paper, or will it transfer the dye?

I know this is is in the wrong category, but I don't know where else to put it. I'm sorry.

To be on the safe side, I would use only white. When you can invest in those quilted china storage sets. They work great. That's how I have mine stored. They stay clean and protected.
