Why are so many people posting Chem questions in the Math section?

Most people will just be annoyed and possibly give incorrect answers intentionally! People with a desire to answer Chem questions will come here. These are simple calculations such as moles/mass; nothing requiring the attention of a mathematician; we are happy to look at those. ☺

Because there are a lot more people in the math section. Once when I needed help with Chemistry, no one really answered what I posted in the Chemistry section.

Those asking questions are for the most part not graduate students. To them a chemistry question involving calculations is likely just another word problem.
