How do people solve pi?

Like how do they go about finding new numbers for pi?

Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to it's diameter. Using trigonometric relations and integral calculus, one may use Leibniz's formula for Pi to calculate the precise value:

The proof is involved, but the formula states:

Pi/4= 1-1/3+1/5-1/7+1/9.......

The more terms you compute the closer to pi it is.

Mathematicians and scientists keep on dividing over and over for a very long time, but it will keep going on in no pattern for the rest of time.
