Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to it's diameter. Using trigonometric relations and integral calculus, one may use Leibniz's formula for Pi to calculate the precise value:
The proof is involved, but the formula states:
Pi/4= 1-1/3+1/5-1/7+1/9.......
The more terms you compute the closer to pi it is.

Mathematicians and scientists keep on dividing over and over for a very long time, but it will keep going on in no pattern for the rest of time.
