Did it seem to anyone else that Fairley was blocked into Aaron Murray?

Or was that just me? Even the commentators said that it didn't look like a flag should have been thrown.

You can't just look at that play. Fairley was playing DIRTY the whole game. He had already been flagged for roughing the passer twice (one on a 3rd down that eventually lead to a Ga. touchdown, and he drove Murray into the ground from behind) Now I wanted Auburn to win, but if I was a Georgia player I would have taken a swing at the scumbag.

EDIT: I mis-read the question the first time, I thought you were saying it looked like he meant to, so I agree it looked like he was blocked into aaron murray, however I go back to the fact he's played dirty the whole game and can see how people would think he was being cheap.

The last hit was unintentional. BUT HIS PREVIOUS THREE OR FOUR WERE NOT! He was only flagged once but should have had at least 3. Auburn was the team that had no class. Throwing punches and getting ejected after the game was clearly one. Fairley has had dirty hits all season. He gave Mallett a concussion, had one on LSU's QB and had plenty tonight. He will never last in the NFL and if he does he will not make any money. Take the NFL for example an illegal hit can still be illegal if there is no penalty flag thrown... just cause their is no flag does not mean its not dirty.

He WAS blocked into Murray. It was very plain to see. Of course all of the Georgia fans are going to scream "foul" about it, but it was not a late hit. What Georgia's team then did, going after Fairley, was totally classless and merited mass ejections.

Hey Eric, you're delusional. He was flagged ONCE for a late hit. He was not playing dirty. He was playing with enthusiasm. The ONE time he hit late was very obvious and he was penalized for it. Even the commentators said he was frustrated and that's why he did it; but he paid the price for his frustration. The only cheap play was on the part of Georgia when they went after him. Totally classless.

The commentators almost always defend the refs. I agree it looked like he was blocked into him, but that was only one of MANY late hits that was taken on Murray all game. When the refs wouldn't do anything about it, the Georgia offensive line did. And Auburn responds by punching them. Way to be classy.

The commentators were Auburn fans couldn't you tell? Not to metion in college they always back up the refs. And that didn't only happen once but so many times in 2nd half. If we were in the NFL that kind of stuff wouldn't work. And that touchdown by Newton in the 4th quarter? If the NCAA got some real rule makers it wouldv'e required him to make two steps in the end zone.
