Anderson Silva didn't look good in his last fight and Vitor hasn't fought since UFC 103. But Vitor has an aggressive style and Anderson thrives on that, Vitor may have fast hands doesn't mean much if you can't get near your opponent. I will go with Anderson....Show more

It's a difficult question....primarily due to Silva's age and what that'll do to his speed. Silva is 35 he'll be just about to turn 36 when the fight rolls around. Historically..35 is the age where fighters start to lose a step...we saw it happen to Ali..lost at 35...Sugar Ray Robinson...35..Oscar De La Hoya 35..etc..

So Silva is creeping into the "curse of 35" territory..and the FIRST thing to go is speed.

If Belfort wins it'll be because of a speed advantage..NOT a technical advantage. Technically Anderson Silva is probably the greatest striker to compete in MMA thus far..when you consider all aspects of striking. Pure boxing may go to Penn...Machida obviously has Karate cornered.

But all things considered...Silva is the best technical striker. Speed wise..I'd actually give the edge to Silva..circa his fight with Griffin. He even looked insanely fast against Maia. So if Silva can still move like THAT I see him winning. BUT..Vitor without doubt..will come the closest to matching Silva as fas as hand speed goes. Another thing Vitor brings that Maia didn't and Sonnen didn't..is that power....even though Silva has never been knocked out. If he catches Silva hard..and follows up...ANYONE can be stopped. You know?

So...final assessment? It comes down to age...if Silva comes in with the same physical gifts he had when he fought Franklin..Griffin and Maia....Silva wins beautifully. If he truly has slowed a bit...hard to tell with the Sonnen fight with the rib injury etc...but if he has in fact slowed down. It's a much more even contest. That said..my prediction...Silva wins via TKO in the 3rd.

Silva has been showing a weak chin in his last fights. And a person with a weak shin should not be allowed to fight someone like Vitro. The guy could put Iron Man to sleep. But then again we are talking about the spider so if i had to lay money mine is on Silva but i am already seeing it and saying Okami will be the next UFC MW Champ...Show more

Vitor winning by KO or TKO with those explosive punches. Silva has bin getting weaker this year. It won't be long before he loses his title....Show more
