They are "of interest", certainly, but they really do not HAVE any "meaning" any more....they had a PURPOSE when they were written, that of establishing the Independence of These United States from the British Crown....That independence has been established for over 200 years, so precedent now sustains the USA as a sovereign state, and the Declaration is just an interesting historical document.

The "words that have meaning" now are the laws of the land derived from your Constitution and its subsequent Amendments...

They meant that all white, Christian, heterosexual, rich, white men are created equal.
