I'm formula feeding my son, he is about 6 weeks old and he eats about 3 - 4 oz. Is this normal? and is 4 oz too much? Thanks in advance :D

Also, i'd like to add that he is eating about every 2 hours exactly. He cries so much and sucks on his hands so i know he is hungry

Just feed him when he's hungry. My son is 7 weeks & eating 4oz every 3-4 hrs. I'm constantly comparing him to a friends son who is 2 weeks older & eating less than my son. I actually asked the pedi & one good point she made, my son was almost 2 lbs heavier than hers at birth!!!!! I received a 'guide' from Enfamil and for his age; 3-5 oz every 2-4 hrs, so you're good!!
when there that old 4 oz at a time is a good start but its all feed on demand you have to go by the feel or so our little guy fed 4oz every couple of hours but it depends on the child
that must be super and no count if it quite is not, that surgeon ought to tell you quickly adequate. babies at that age commonly purely consume what they like. There would nicely be exceptions, however the surgeon visits are close adequate to capture any issues. whilst he starts off eating good foodstuff watch to verify if he gets too chunky. The human physique develops the quantity of fat cells it could have from 0-3 years previous. Having a corpulent 12 - sixteen month previous isn't a healthful element.
