Anyone know what's wrong with my TV?

I have a couple year old Sylvania flat CRT TV. For a couple months now the lines of pixels at the top appear to be coming apart. I order a new TV, but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas whats going on.

That has happened to me once... I don't know what was wrong with it thought. Maybe the source and help.
