can you use refrigerated cookie dough in the cookie press?

I want to make cookies in my cookie press but don't want to go to a lot of trouble. Can I use refrigerated cookie dough?

Yes, let it warm to room temp and soften. then put it in the press. Works well

yes, but press real hard.
Or let is stand to room temp before pressing.

Unless, the dough has big chocolate chunks that will be trapped in the presser output.
