The amount of money they have accumulated is so huge that if these people hadn't been corrupt, then many big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc would have had clean, pothole-free, well-lit streets with no traffic congestion. And all villages would have got electricity and health care facilities.

India may not be the most corrupted country, but India has got huge amount of resources to make money. Many foreign investors want to expand in India and they bribe our politicans. These CWG and 2G scams are just exposed to public. There may be lots of scams which are not exposed.
There are billions of dollars in Swiss bank(BLACK MONEY) which belongs to politicians and if this money is used for India's development, within 2 years India will rule the World economy.
