Can I be a model ? If so what kind in your opinion.?

I just turned 17 years old. I am 5'7 120 pounds measurments 24, 34, 24
I am an half African American and half Nigerian so I have what one would call "exotic" features <large lips, chinky eyes) etc.
Many people say I have modeling potential I just wanted to know if I had the body for it and if so how I can become a model,
I stay in California I am aware of all the Major agencies such as Ford, Wilhelmina, LA Models
Please help, thanks! :)

No offense, that isnt the best picture... but you have a gorgeous face. By your measurements they sound perfect. Go ahead... but just a warning; the model company is very critical!

Erma... I say give it a try... you never know. But if by some chance you are not selected DO NOT LET it affect you. It does not mean you are any less beautiful. Those who pick models can be very finicky. They may not like what you look like this year but next year you could be their dream girl. Just remember your beauty comes from within. Work on it and it will come through like a shinning light. You will stand out among all the other models. :-)

you could definately do runway and print. send your pictures out to those agencies and i think you have a bright future ahead of you! good luck! :)
