My Town and Country doors are locked, and the remote will not work. I don't have a normal key, so how do I get in? The car worked fine yesterday, but then wouldn't start and now it won't even unlock.
Any ideas?

In the botton of the fobic remote is an emergency key in your 2008 and up Town and Country mini vans. Slide the release switch on the face of the remote and release the emergency key and unlock the door the old fashioned way by using the keyhole in the door. Here is a link to the picture of the fobic and the emergency key from amazingkeys.com:
Got to love all the new electronics to make lazy people not have to do anything other than push a button. Your car battery is dead, now you actually need the key to open the door and open the hood so you can use jumper cables to put some power in your car battery so you can use that new finagled piece of electronics to unlock your doors. I prefer to use the key myself. Even my lazy remote car starter is not hooked up to my alarm or door locks. Something that most people do not take into consideration. Better find your "normal " key or get one ASAP.
Car parts stores have a test device, a receiver with a light on it, that lights up if the remote sends a signal. That can show you whether or not the Remotee does anything at all. It might need a battery ifit doesn't output. If there's no outgoing signal, the car has nothing to respond to. Call a friend to take you to the store you find to have one of these testers. Usually Kragen and AutoZone have them near the front counter. Call the store first.
How are you starting the car if you don't have a "normal key"? was the ignition changed out or something? your car door locks work off the key that starts the van as well. If your car won't start or unlock then your car battery is dead.
