Just the last couple weeks I cant download photos or video from my mail-I have changed nothing on my mail options.Is this a common problem with vista?Please help..How do I fix this problem?

No errors,the open /save box pops up as normal,looks like it is opening or saving but photos and video do not open.

You didn't mention the "why". Why you can't download? An error occurs? If yes what kind of error? Tell us with as many details as you can.
PS: And tell us any relative info you can possibly think!

Some ideas:
1) Did you make and proxy changes? [What is a proxy? More info: http://www.tech-faq.com/what-is-a-proxy.html]
2) Did you make any url changes (for example instead of pop.mail.yahoo.com, (CORRECT one) you wrote mail.pop.yahoo.com? (false one)
3) Did you changed your email password?
I can't think any other thing right now. Do some research and tell us...

Saving isn't opening. After the file saves, go to the file you saved and run it.
