So..does the knowledge that, legally speaking, news shows can tell you anything is a fact disturb you as well? What should we do about this?

I believe very little of what news is put out. I listen to what they have to say then put common sense to work and can come closer to what the news really is than what they claim the news is. But so many liberals don't have any common sense so they are unable to do this and believe every thing the news says.

From the article "We are pushing for a consumer protection solution that labels news content according to its adherence to ethical journalism". This pretty much says it all. Long gone are the days when News reporting was actually factual or ethical. If there is a way for this consumer protection solution to get on the ballot, I, for one, would most certainly vote for it. Since the news has become so aligned with political party affiliation, I can't stomach to watch it anymore. If people stopped watching the biased reporting of Fox and MS-NBC they would go off the air.
