When Sun goes to red giant the earth may be fried or blast ?
1. the most of news spread that when sun goes to red giant and earth may be burned ? 2. recently i had watched the science program on discovery channel, scientist said earth wont be end forever reason it is rocky planet and even sun goes to red giant the earth will orbit sun from inside the sun and when it moves to supernova the earth will throw away from our solar system and earth go somewhere in space, so scientist explain life on earth may ends but earth wont end forever, when sun goes invisible earth goes away from our solar system and if it reach any new star it may orbits the new star or clash with any planets???? 3. everyone knows earth age is 4.54 billion years and sun age is 4.5 billion years ,both were almost same. 4. star is not performing permanent role in universe and earth like rocky planet need star for life.
may doubt is about our earth will end or fried when sun goes to red giant or super nova or may be black hole????
i do think earth may orbit some other star before our sun. end of dinosaur life and beginning of man life .

1) Present opinion is that Mercury and Venus will be absorbed into the sun. But the earth will be spared that fate. However during the transition, much material from the sun will be expelled into the interstellar space. That will surely be the end of any life remaining on earth. The red giant phase will be over in a short time, then the sun will shrink to a white dwarf
2) History channel aren't too interested in facts. They have no idea what they are talking about. Any planet that is inside the sun will be reduced to its constituent atoms in a very short period of time. It will not orbit because of too much friction. It will rapidly sink to the center to hotter and hotter regions and be destroyed. The earth can not escape the gravity of the sun. Our sun will never become a supernova. 3. The sun and the earth are the same age.
The Earth might move to a safe enough distance in the next 4.5 billion years to *not* be consumed by the larger, red giant phase of the Sun, because the Sun will be gradually losing a little bit of mass during that timespan. But that's irrelevant for any life forms on this planet, as the millenia go on, eventually the Earth's oceans will evaporate, and the atmosphere will be stripped away. No decendants of anything alive onthis planet today will be alive and on Earth anywhere near the time that the Sun becomes a red giant.
The Sun will not go supernova, it doesn't have enough mass.
No the Sun will not end up as a red giant nor will it consume the Earth it's all cobblers and scare stories by these moron scientists who want to for some reason scare everyone. There is no evidence that this will happen to the sun and frying the Earth up, our sun will simply run out of fuel and gases and get smaller by the day that's all. Stop worrying and believing the scientists crap and then repeating this crap to everyone like you want this to happen. It will not happen the Earth will survive that's not to say one day it will die of course but it will not be by the hands of the Sun no way what so ever.
The sun will never become a red giant. Scientist theorize that this will happen to the earth only because that is what they observe some other similar stars do. That in itself does not guarantee that the same thing will happen to our star, the sun. One factor that determines if a star like the sun will become a red giant is the generation of the star. The sun is a fifth generation star that will last indefinitely. In part because of the celestial material that it continuously absorbs. If a star is similar to the sun is a third or fourth generation, then it will become a red giant. The sun is probably has already outlived all four of its previous star generations. The sun, despite predictions, will exist indefinitely.
1. Yes the sun will become a red giant and swallow everything upto mars. Including the earth. And then its outer layers will be blown out (not so fast like an explosion) and it will become a white dwarf. After 700 million years 2. No. If the sun becomes a red giant it would have enough temperature and speed and mass to burst earth. How can a planet revolve a star within it? If the earth goes like that, the earth will melt.
