I'm trying to decide between the Depo shot or the Mini Pill. Help?
The Mini Pill and the regular pill are two different things. I can't be on a regular pill because I have high blood pressure and migraines with aura really bad. I don't care about the weight gain I'm a motivated person who is active and can lose it.
I'm not remaining abstinent from my HUSBAND!

Depo has alot of side effects, I was on the pill for 5 yrs and didn't have a problem. Depo also causes weight gain.

If you plan on using one without ANY other form of contraception, then Depo.
If you use another form as well, then Mini Pill.
Either way, nothing is fail-safe, but either step is in the right direction.

The side effects of depo were horrible for me and I wouldnt recommend that one 2 anyone

I recommend ortho- tricyclen low or yaz or ABSTINENCE
