I do star questions when I think they are interesting. These are usually questions I want my contacts to see and answer.
The majority of questions I answer are really not barn-burners, though, so I don't give stars to those. Just the good ones. I will star this one for you.

You don't get points for stars. However, you can get back part of the asking fee( -5 points) by choosing a best answer (+ 3 points).
