I am looking for information from someone who has used "Perfect Optimizer" .?

For example: How reliable is this free program? Is there a chance of downloading viruses, etc. by using this program? Thanks!

Don't use Perfect Optimizer.

We regulars here on Yahoo Answers recommend CCleaner, made by a company called Piriform. It's free for personal use.

The free versions are available on the Builds Page at

The "CCleaner - Installer" version contains a toolbar for the browser. It installs like most Windows programs.

The "CCleaner - Portable" version does not install via Windows, it's just a zip file. Extract the files within and put them where you want them. You can run this program from a USB flash drive - on any computer. I use this version.

The "CCleaner - PortableU3" version is for a special kind of USB flash drive. I haven't used it.

The "CCleaner - Slim" version has no toolbar and installs like most Windows programs. Many people use this version.

If you want suppport from the company for any problems, you can pay for that support here.

I would not trust my system with this software ever. I would rather suggest you to go for old and trusted ones such as reginout, ccleaner etc
