dirty cat's ears n small bald patches on ears?

is it common to have to clean cat's ears DAILY? why are there small bald patches on cat's ears? what can we do for her?

sounds like ear mites to me....take her to the vet---you can use revolution and save yourself from the stupid drop nightmare....

The poor dear. Sounds like a case of ear mites which can be common. What you are cleaning out of their ears, does it look like coffee grounds? Regardless, this sounds like it would be very uncomfortable for her. Take her to the vet. They should just give you drops which are no big deal at all. She will of course shake her head vigorously after you put them in which will make you think the drops will never work, but they will. Good luck to you and ope your kitty feels better :)

You shouldn't have to clean the cat's ears every day. It sounds like your cat might have ear mites, a yeast infection, or some other type of problem. I would have a vet take a look.
