A lot of grocery stores hire 14-15 year olds as cashiers or baggers, Mcdonald's minimum age to work their is 14, but they mostly hire 16+, it's pretty difficult to get a job as a 14 or 15 year old, unless you know someone who can get one for you . Most stores/restaurants only hire 16+.

stores are not legally allowed to hire a 13 or 14y.o. Some places, I've heard McDonald's, will hire a 15y.o. if it's close to their 16th b-day. I think they get away with it because they call you a trainee, and you're only allowed to work very minimal hours.

I know a 15y.o. girl who was able to get hired at a daycare centre, doing cleaning, 4hrs/wk.

You could also try dog walking, paper delivery, tutoring, lawn mowing, snow shoveling. If you're really ambitious - start your own business! if you're creative, you could make something crafty that you could sell ie. jewellery, cards, artwork...Show more

You can't get a job at any chain place until you're 16, sorry.
You might be able to get a job at a small local place bagging groceries or something. Ask your neighbors if they have anything you could do, shoveling snow or something....Show more
