Quiz Question For You Geography Fans.?
I was named in the 15th century by explorers. I am a large sea. But, I am the only sea in the world completely surrounded by water and contained within an ocean. What is my name and what is the name of the large ocean?
Thanks Dwight. If I gave more clues, it would give the answer away too easily. The second answer was correct. The Sargasso Sea in the Atlantic Ocean has no shorelines, is totally contained within the Atlantic Ocean and is the only such sea that fits that description. But I thank you for very much for trying.
