How do you get nonstick spray off of baking pans?

I wash my cookie sheets after every use but I can't get the nonstick spray to come off once it has been baked. Now my pans have a nasty buildup of the spray. Is there something I can use to get it off?

I don't have any build up. I use Comet every time I use them.
