Are MLMs legal? Do they work?

Are MLMs legal and if so, do they work? how exactly? Every one I've seen seems to be a scam.

Hey there,
Multi level marketing is legal but yes most are unfortunately scams.
Online today it is very hard to separate the scams from real opportunities..
The best you can do is research every company that you come across. There are many anti-scam websites that you can research scams on like scam.com
