Well it's a scientific fact that all objects emit some time of energy. So let's say that you were born with Mars in Sagittarius. The energy from mars connects with the energy of Sagittarius and affects you because all of that energy is hitting the earth at the exact time you're born.
As for daily horoscope, I believe that the energy emitted from, say, Venus being in a particular part of the sky can affect my thoughts and actions because they're hitting the Earth in a particular way.
But that's just what I think.
