need to know about big bang/steady state/string theories?
i need just difference between these theories because scientist follows these theories which said to be birth of universe. universe based on big bang or steady state or string theory? give some difference between these theories? Prof.Stephen hawking clearly mentioned big bang is birth for our universe and some other scientist follows steady state and string theory and i got big confusion on these theories,need you help friends

No, I don't know about these, though I do not believe there ever was a Big Bang. There was nothing to make any bang! There was, and is, however, God. He was the only one who was there in the beginning, and He created the world from nothing, by just 'saying the words'. He is the Omnipotent and Almighty God, who does not, nor cannot lie. I much prefer to believe what God says, as recorded in the Bible, rather than believe some foolish man-made theory of people who were not even there when the universe began.
The steady-state theory was invented by Fred Hoyle and most astronomers no longer consider it viable as the redshift of galaxies support the big bang model.
String theory is a quantum theory of gravity. In string theory, space time is 11 dimensional, with 4 "large' dimensions that we see , String theory is an attempt to unify the 4 fundamental forces of nature.
The Standard Model unifies the strong and electro -weak forces. String theory attempts to unify those with gravity.
