Diesel tractor smokes blue smoke excessively?

My 3 cylinder diesel tractor smokes blue smoke excessively all the time. I thought it might be the fuel pump feeding the injectors too much diesel but i dont know. how would i adjust the fuel pump to regulate the flow? or is it something else?

blue smoke is oil being burned off, is it a Turbo? If it is a turbo, that is usually the first sign of a turbo going bad. the turbo seal/bearing is worn out allowing access oil into the air intake. take off the intake runner and see if there is oil in it. if so, then your turbo is shot.

Excessive smoke from engines is a result of incomplete combustion of fuel in the combustion chambers. Excess diesel is routed to the diesel tank.
The rings of the piston(s) are weak and need to be changed. Visit the workshop.

Excess Fueling is Black. "Blue-White" is Oil from Bad Piston Rings or Leaking Oil Seals around Injectors.

Blue Smoke, coming from an engine, usually means oil is burning, the Cylinders may need re-boring, and new rings installed.
The scraper rings, may not be removing adequate oil from the cylinder wall and gets burned on combustion.

The same thing happens to my F-250 Turbo Clean-Diesel, it goes away after the engine warms up, (for me at least)
