Does neutering change a cat's voice?

Hello :)
Our cat, Meowgi, was just neutered yesterday. He is doing really well and is already himself. However his voice is much squeakier. Is that because of the neuter? Also, I know his urine smell is supposed to decrease. How much of the smell will go away? How long does it take for him to get rid of the remaining boy hormones in his body?

Hmmmm....I haven't noticed neutering changing a cat's voice. You might ask your vet. but maybe its something to do with the anesthesia.. or maybe he has not drunk as much water since the surgery?

It can take up to 2 months for the hormone level to go down. ( I have also heard 45 days. so somewhere around there. and remember he might still be able to sire kittens in that time )
Even after that it does not totally get rid of all the "boy hormones" in his body, there will still be a tiny bit of testosterone that wasn't from the testes. Neutered cats aren't really "neutral" , it's more like "Male Light". But the major amount of hormone that affects things like the urine odor will be gone within a month or two. maybe a bit sooner. If he was already sexually mature when neutered, you will notice a big difference in the odor.

Cat Voice Change

could have voice change, could also be from the stress of him being fixed losing his manhood. my cat is fixed and he still smells the same to me. (he stinks). getting rid of the boy hormones has to do with how many he had to start off with (the age of the cat). mine the vet didn't do all the great with and he still has some hormones left. (he still sprays sometimes but there is nothing we can do cause he's to old, I've ask our new vet).

I'm not sure of the last two questions but I don't believe his voice is changed because of being neutered. He might be under some stress from being neutered but I don't believe it will stay that way.

My cat used to sing in alto all the time, now he is more like a choir boy. He says he is going to join a boy band
