New dryer feels hot on top?

Got a new dryer, it's level and properly vented. However, the top still feels hotter than I believe it should. Any ideas? Clothes do seem to be drying properly.

Well, since you bought new one, I would google it to see whether or not if there is any problem has been reported on your dryer. Or read the manual of the product if you have, to see the upper part of your dryer suppose to be hot like that. And you should contact the manufacture for farther question. You should replace with other one if it is possible.
