Are cordoba bank notes from 1987 still valid?

I bought a storage unit and found a 5000 cordoba and 500 cordoba bill in it. they are both from 1985. I went to chase to trade them in and they said I would have to go to a foreign exchange dealer because they were not in her book. she believes that they are no longer valid. Does anyone know if I can sell these and where?

Yes they are still valid, take them to a Bank where the tellers know what they are talking about.
