Spider prey wrapped in web. Term?

Is there a term for a spider's prey that is wrapped up in spider silk? You know, to be digested/eaten later?

My mother says it is a cocoon and my niece says it is not. I said I didn't know if you could use that term or not.

I usually hear them simply called "wrapped prey", but I have heard them called cocoons too. There isn't a specific term for the captured and stored prey that I am aware of.
