Well you are pretty vague but to be short router 1 = 192.168.1.1 with NAT to the Internet
Router 2 = 192.168.2.1

Subnet mask for both = 255.255.255.252

Turn on RIP ver 2 for both routers

set DHCP to only one router - main one connected to the Internet

Main GW depends on what network you are on

the way you intend opens the door to a considerable mess. the right way is to link the modem to a minimum of one router. you have a router with a equipped in 4 port community change. despite the fact that, finding out to purchase a 2d community change is mandatory once you have greater suitable than 4 LAN gadgets and this could be a thank you to do the interest. A 2d router such as you intend is unwise because of the fact: a million. you will or might have DHCP assigned IP addresses from 2d router fouling up DHCP assigned IP addresses from first router. 2. you're turning out to be 2 routers utilising comparable LAN subnet and having comparable LAN IP addresses - that's chaos. 3. somebody down the line might inheret the mess and ought to spend a great style of time debugging the mess - while there would not have been a multitude interior the 1st place if there had no longer been 2 routers.
