To change the way time is recorded has absolutely no effect on the day or date itself. This is just like when the calendar was changed from the Julian to the Gregorian Calendar the christian world uses today. Not to mention how Leap Years were handled to keep man's calendar in sync with the planetary movement/orbit.
Again, to call "black" objects "white" will not change the color.

Good ideal! Then while we're at it we can squeeze in the 13th zodiac. I recently found out I'm supposed to be a virgo instead of a libran and I was not pleased to hear that our zodiac is erroneous.
