I did because most of the guns in Black Ops were underpowered, with the only strong ones being AK47, baby AK, Famas, and Aug. I also hated every map in BO save Firing Range. I also dont like how snipes got nerfed to the fullest extent of being nerfed (Note I do not quick scope in MW2, I will sit back and snipe those who just so happen to come into my line of sight). There are several other minor things too (like the fact many of the games guns were not even in development in the 60's let alone in production lol), but I'm curious as to other reasons for why everyone is slowly coming back to Modern Warfare 2.

Basically everything you said is the reason why i went back to MW2. The underpowered guns is 100% true! (except you forgot the galil) Those guns are the only guns you see when you join a game. And the maps and extremely bad! Except for firing range, nuketown and summit. Also if BO is going to make shotguns primary ATLEAST make them good.
in my view Black ops is a lot extra suitable than MW2 is laughable, MW2 had extremely some element incorrect, each and all of the weapons the place overpowered and that i'm merely grateful Black ops is now out simply by fact the gun powers are appropriate. When i first played BO i didnt like it at all, it was so different from MW2 like you said guns are underpowered but the one thing i like about BO is that its so customizable everything from face paint to your playercard MW2 will always be a favorite though
I think MW2 and Black Ops are both great games with their own pros and cons. MW2 is slightly more addictive though, while Black Ops is more balanced.
But I like Black Ops better because MW2 is SO unbalanced. ----- MW2 cons:
*Campaign's story is boring. (In my opinion) *It's filled with hackers. *Boosters. *Very bad community. (Specifically in S&D matches) *Commando (About 3m/9-10ft knife range). *OMA (It can also fully replenish your ammo). *Stopping Power (It ruins Hardcore matches). *Danger Close (Used with under-barrel Grenade Launchers + OMA). *Killstreak kills allow you to obtain other killstreaks, thus, making nukes easy to get with a Harrier and a Chopper Gunner/AC-130.
MW2 pros:
*Great soundtrack and action-packed scenes. *Very fun maps (Except for the map packs, but the CoD4 maps don't count). *Great graphics and sound. *Spec-Ops mode. *No currency system. ----- Black Ops cons:
*Some maps are fun (Launch and Summit), while others are boring (Jungle and WMD). *Only two Zombie maps on launch (KDT and Five). *Terrible connection can cause players to waste a lot of ammo by accident and "miss" shots or get hitmarkers from a sniper rifle. *Sniping is nerfed (E.g. No ADS boost with Snipers while using SOH Pro). *CoD Points. *Shotguns are primaries and some SMG's (E.g. Skorpion) are like machine pistols. *Graphics and sometimes sound are a bit worse compared to MW2 and the animations are a bit stiff.
Black Ops pros:
*Awesome campaign. *More balanced. (E.g. Scavenger doesn't resupply launchers, Tactical Insertions aren't allowed in FFA to prevent boosting) *More customization and features. (E.g. Emblem editor, custom Red Dot/Reflex reticules and lens) *Wager Match modes. *Killstreaks don't add to other KS. *Community isn't as bad as MW2's. *Combat Training. *Better weapons. (Even though the AUG HBAR was in MW2, the original AUG wasn't)
