Great question Maurice! If they would have fought, it would have been a very close and competitive fight. I believe that they were pretty equal as far as speed and power goes and that Brown was a little better boxer as far as technique goes. Honeyghan beat such fighters as Maurice Blocker, Johnny Bumphus, Donald Curry and Harold Brazier and Brown defeated such fighters as Maurice Blocker Tyronne Trice, but is best known for his shocking kayo victory over Terry Norris. Could go either way sir, but I;m taking Simon Brown by split decision in a great fight.
Mark Breland would win a very close decision over Brown by scoring a late rounds knockdown. When Breland was at his best, was a very good boxer.
Simon Brown would win a rematch with Starling by split decision victory. Another very close fight just like the first one but somehow Brown takes this one.
